I, Dr. DEVENDRA MAHADIK have been working as a Cardio-Vascular and Thoracic Surgeon for last 20 years in Surat. In fact immediately after qualifying from Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, I settled in Surat. My aim was to provide services of my speciality to people of Surat, as they were almost non-existant at that time. I developed my speciality in all trust hospitals of Surat and concentrated more on Shri Mahavir General hospital, where I started Open Heart Surgery Program in the year 1986.
