We have been performing complicated procedures like double valve replacements as shown in the diagram here. One metal valve is in Mitral position and other is in aortic position. We use innovative techniques for approaching Mitral Valve, excellent myocardial protection is ensured by use of warm antegrade and/or retrograde cardioplegia. Aortic valve procedure is equally important and we always insert valves large enough for the patient i.e. if needed aortic root is enlarged. Results for single or double valve replacement are excellent and predictable.
